Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has visited China in early September, holding talks with Premier Li Qiang and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, respectively. Amid the complex and volatile situation in the Middle East, this meeting not only reinforced the China-Qatar strategic partnership but also injected stability into regional peace.

First, upgrading political mutual trust and practical cooperation. Both sides firmly support each other on issues concerning their respective core interests.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani explicitly stated that Qatar will overcome difficulties to prioritize energy supplies to China while expanding cooperation into high-tech fields like new energy and AI, jointing forces to usher in the next 'Golden Decade' of bilateral relations.

Second, adhering to dialogue and negotiation to build a new Middle East security architecture. Addressing regional tensions, both sides agreed that "military pressure is not the way out, and dialogue and negotiation are the right path."

China supports Qatar’s mediation efforts, while Qatar appreciates China's objective and fair stance. Both nations advocate respecting regional sovereignty, safeguarding global energy channels, and supporting an equitable security architecture driven independently by regional countries.

Facing a complex international landscape, China and Qatar will continue to practice multilateralism and deepen cooperation, contributing to regional peace and global common development.
