The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met on Monday at Lusail Palace with the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, who offered his condolences to the Amir on the passing of the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
Present were the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani; Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Thani; Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani; Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Khalifa Al-Thani; Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani; Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani; Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani; Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, along with a number of Their Excellencies, the late HH the Father Amir's sons, and several Their Excellencies Sheikhs.
Earlier on arrival in Doha. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif along with Former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, for their one day official visit. Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani received the Pakistani delegation at the airport.

Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of.Pakistan in his post on X Account has conveyed condolence message on the death of Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa AlThani.
'Deeply saddened by the passing away of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Former Amir of the State of Qatar.
The Father Amir, late Sheikh Hamad was a great leader and statesman whose wisdom, foresight and dedication to public service, transformed Qatar into a modern, prosperous and globally respected nation. His enduring contributions to the welfare of his nation and its people, as well as to regional peace, development and international cooperation, will be remembered for generations to come.
On behalf of the people and the Government of Pakistan, as well as on my own behalf, I extend our heartfelt condolences to my Dear Brother the Amir of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the distinguished members of the Al Thani family, the Government, as well as the brotherly people of Qatar on this solemn occasion. We stand in solidarity with them in this moment of profound grief.
In his closing remarks, Prime Minister of Pakistan said, 'We will always cherish the Father Amir’s warmth, kindness and deep affection for Pakistan, as well as the fond memories of his many visits to our country.
May Allah Almighty grant the departed Father Amir, the highest place in Jannat ul Firdaus, and May He shower His blessings upon the Royal Family and our Qatari brothers and sisters to bear this irreparable loss with strength, patience and fortitude, Aameen'.
Pakistan has declared Monday, 13 July, as a Day of Mourning to express solidarity with the brotherly people of Qatar, announced by Cabinet Division in Islamabad.
